Risk Management for Charities and Non-profit Organizations
Date: Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Time: 7:00 - 8:30 PM ADT
Location: Virtual Workshop
Hosted By: Kings Volunteer Resource Centre
What are the main types of risk involved in operating charities and nonprofits? Volunteers often step in when others have stepped away. Good intentions are not always enough to protect volunteers and their organizations against civil and criminal liability.
A risk management plan provides volunteers with a framework for identifying and assessing risks, and a set of steps to follow to mitigate risk and potential impacts now and into the future.
