Description |
The purpose of the Membership Adviser position is to plan, coordinate, promote, and support activities and processes relating to the growth, registration, recruitment, retention, and recognition of girl and adult members. Promote Girl Guiding: * Represent Girl Guides at events. * Promote a positive image of Girl Guides at public events. * Familiarize yourself with Girl Guiding's' key messages and promote these in your external communications. You don't need to have been involved in guiding before or have loads of time to make a big difference. Whatever your skills and interests, supporting behind the scenes, makes a difference. Training Details | You’ll receive training in preparation for your role, and have access to ongoing training opportunities. |
Working Conditions |
The active portion of the Guiding year typically ranges from September to May or June. The weekly commitment of this position is a minimum of three hours per week. Girl Guides welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, cultures, faiths and abilities. We are flexible, and volunteering can be arranged to fit around a busy lifestyle. |
