Reporting to the Chapter Director and National Finance Director: The APS creates a supportive, empowering space to maximize the chapter's ability to reach key organizational priorities. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Process volunteer reimbursements Process other payables/ bills as necessary Data entry Maintain accurate records Email Monitoring Receipt Management Month-end support Skills and Qualifications: Accomplishes tasks with great rigor Has excellent interpersonal skills and is adaptable Has a great sense of responsibility, is reliable and constant Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working with Google Knowledge of accounting or finance is an asset Strong interest in the Gender Based Violence (GBV) sector Ability to maintain a voice that is supportive, approachable, anti-racist anti-oppressive, and inclusive in all areas of communication The ability to prioritize tasks and shift priorities as necessary. |
| Training Details |
Role Details: Must complete Shelter Movers volunteer onboarding process Interview: Criminal Record Check Confidentiality Agreement Trauma Informed Orientation Role specific training. Dual reporting structure: APS will collaborate with the Chapter Director and local management team on daily responsibilities. APS will follow the standards set by the National Finance Director. APS is expected to attend recurring monthly meetings |
