About the Position
Position # 2542
OrganizationElderDog Canada
Position Pawd Coordinators
Impact Statement ElderDog Canada is dedicated to supporting the relationship between senior people and their canine companions. Every day, across the country, through small acts of kindness, ElderDog volunteers make a world of difference in the lives of older adults and their canine companions. For many older people, their dog is their sole companion. Supporting that relationship in a variety of ways is vitally important for the health and well-being of both.
Description ElderDog Canada has vacancies in some of our chapters or Pawds across the province and is ready to welcome new volunteer leaders. ElderDog is a 100% volunteer-run, national charity dedicated to ageing people and ageing dogs. Each Pawd includes a leadership team of program coordinators, volunteers in non-leadership roles, and a Pawd Leader who provides overall leadership and serves as a liaison with ElderDog National Office.

Pawd Leaders receive mentoring and support, educational opportunities, and, most important, the gratification of working with others to make a difference in the lives of older adults and older dogs.

Take time to learn more about ElderDog from www.elderdog.ca and, if interested in learning more about becoming a Pawd Leader, contact [email protected].
