Position PERK Program Assistant
Description Perk is a program designed to have a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities by helping them to improve their communication skills, gain confidence and improve their quality of life through a series of fun activities. Perk volunteers help to facilitate weekly social group activities
for people living with cognitive challenges, such as stroke survivors, those living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and other acquired brain injuries.

Main Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to staff
• Organize breakout sessions and assist with other logistical aspects of the program
• Assist in the planning and facilitation of different activities
• Provide tech support to program participants as needed
• Engage in meaningful conversations with program participants
Training Details Mentorship by program leaders on how to conduct programming.
Minimum Duration 3 months or less
Timing Anytime
Time Detail Program is currently running once a week. Tuesdays from 1pm - 2:30 PM.
