Impact Statement Involving volunteers can add great value to what SEILO does and support to achieve our mission: promote the sustainable use of natural resources (terrestrial, coastal, and marine resources) including a deeper awareness of environmental consciousness.

Also, Involving volunteers can help us to engage a more diverse range of skills, experience, and knowledge. Let's do this together!
Description (i) Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Volunteers will be part of SEILO team and will help us to:
- Organize and participate in online events (workshops, webinars)
- Design posters
- Plan and take part in recreational activities such as tree planting, beach cleaning, etc.
- Take photos and videos during special events (post Covid-19)
- Other duties specifically around coordination of special events, or as assigned

(ii) Requirements

- Must present professional appearance and a friendly manner
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Be courteous when dealing with the public
- Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented
- Respect and maintain the confidentiality of SEILO volunteers, partners, and donors
- Computer skills and knowledge of or experience in conducting environmental awareness programs are desired, but not necessary

(iii) Time Commitment
Once per week for 4 hours or more if applicable (flexible)
Training Details All volunteers are invited to attend general volunteer orientation (virtual meeting and in-person meeting post-COVID-19)
Working Conditions Flexible options available: indoor activities, work from home or outdoor activities (public health measures will be taken or events will happen likely during post-Covid19).
