Description Your volunteer efforts will help us to meet our goal for our current campaign – Operation Enhancement. This campaign's goal is to raise over $2.5 million to purchase new equipment and upgrades for the OR at Valley Regional Hospital.

WE NEED Community Volunteers, Available May 23rd, 2024
3 shift time slots, times are location dependent:
8am-10:30am; 10:30am – 1pm; 1pm-4pm

Volunteer Requirements:
You will be stationed at the various locations throughout the Valley (businesses from Annapolis Valley to Wolfville) collecting donations of spare change from patrons. A schedule will be provided.
Training Details Donation receipt and FAQ sheets are provided. A VRHF employee will be around throughout the day with snacks and to touch base with all volunteers in person. A VRHF employee will be on-call the entire day for any questions or issues that arise.
Working Conditions You are outgoing and don’t mind talking to the public about the Radiothon event. You could potentially be standing for a 3 shift in an outdoor environment! You will need access to transportation to assigned collection site.

Volunteers are required to pick up their materials at the Foundation office the week of May 13th. They will be provided with a change collection jar, t-shirts, and info for FAQ’s.
