Position International Summer Camp Leader

Description CISV Halifax is looking for summer camp leaders for 2020 to take youth ages 11-15 to Norway, Germany, Sweden, Waterloo Canada and/or Columbus United States to take part in international youth camps. The role of the leader is to accompany Canadian youth to a camp at one of the above locations. Youth participate in activities based on cooperative and intercultural living. The adult leader's role is mainly planning and participating in activities, as well as youth supervision, all expenses are paid for.
Training Details Be available for local training in Halifax during late February, early March (up to two one day sessions)

Be available for a national training weekend, May 8-10, 2020 in Montreal (expenses paid)
Working Conditions Summer camp setting, international experience, cultural understanding
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Anytime
Time Detail Minimum of one meeting or delegation activity per month
Meetings with parents individually
Mini Camp in May to bond with delegates
Age 21+
