| Description |
Work in this volunteering stream is essential to supporting the food and beverage offerings to volunteers and visitors. The Cookhouse is the heart of the Heritage Village and an important part of the welcome extended to the local community and visitors from further afar. Roles and tasks include: - Baking - Bartending (incl. transport of bar supplies and restocking bar) - Counter Service and / or Table Service - Ironing (table linens) - take home or onsite - Kitchen prep and support - Laundering - take home or onsite - Peeling vegetables - Setting tables There are roles in this volunteer stream to suit young people of various ages. We always approach age in relation to a particular role on a case-by-case basis. |

| Time Detail | As and when needed, May to November, generally for special events and functions. However, “peelers” meet weekly during the summer. |
