Position Goody Cart Volunteer - Recreation Therapy

Impact Statement Volunteers are essential to providing support for the many programs that enhance quality of life for the 6000 clients we serve. The over 500 volunteers contribute their talent, skill and time to Northwood. They make a difference in the lives of residents and seniors in the community, and continue to be a vital part of the Northwood community.
Description Load and push a Goody Cart full of small treats and essential items of comfort. The Goody Cart has a monthly schedule to visit each floor within Northwood.
Training Details Recreation Therapy and Goody Cart Orientation.
Working Conditions Must be able to push wheeled cart weighing approximately 50lbs. Must be able to bend to reach items on the lower shelves of the cart.
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Time Detail 2 hrs per month
Age 18+
