Flying Squirrel Adventures
Flying Squirrel Adventures (FSA) is a community group specializing in nature (re)connection and facilitated nature play & learning for all ages. We gather with children, youth and adults in natural settings and local green spaces to provide outdoor skills, sensory awareness (i.e. mindfulness exercises), naturalist training, and age appropriate activities as well as free play opportunities to allow participants to connect to the natural world and each other at a pace that is suited to their needs and interests. We were established as a collaborative project between several local groups in 2018 and have been running free monthly outings for families and individuals at the Kentville Ravine for more than a year.
