The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global non-formal education framework which challenges young people to discover their potential and find their purpose, passion and place in the world. Our mission in Nova Scotia is to give every young Canadian aged 14 to 24 a supportive self-development tool that deepens awareness, builds confidence, broadens skills and impels them into experiences that further their development as active, responsible citizens.
