Walk and Roll Safety Halifax Association
Walk 'n Roll Halifax is a registered Nova Scotia Society (Walk and Roll Safety Halifax Association) since 2015. We advocate for the needs of pedestrians, those who walk or roll in wheelchairs / assistive devices, to make every route you walk in HRM safe, comfortable and interesting.
We work with the Municipality to monitor their progress in implementing pedestrian safety infrastructure and policy. We are often engaged by the Municipality on its significant capital works projects to comment from a pedestrian safety point of view.
We work collegially with the Halifax Cycling Coalition, Crosswalk Safety Society of Nova Scotia and It's More Than Buses to present a united advocacy front on active transportation issues.
