Kings Multicultural Festival Society
The Kentville Multicultural Festival is a family-friendly annual event celebrating the region’s cultural diversity and promoting social inclusion. The event hosts performers, entertainers, food & retail vendors, and information tables from different cultural backgrounds to showcase our local talent and diversity. It is free to the public and great for people of all ages.
The Kentville Multicultural Festival was the brainchild of a community member and recent immigrant who felt the need for minority populations to have a space to celebrate and share their culture.
Over the years, the planning committee has involved immigrants and minority communities in organizing the event. Many community groups and organizations are represented on the planning committee including the Kings County’s Diversity Committee, YREACH, Kentville Business Community, Valley REN, and NSCC.
