Position Director of Social Media
Description The director of social media will be responsible for:

Social media content creation.
Posting twice per week on Instagram and Facebook.
Developing strategies to engage followers and spread our social media presence.
Posting important announcements to inform our users of what’s happening within the organization.
Working with the Heads of Volunteer Recruitment to develop successful volunteer recruitment campaigns.
Communicating with our head of fundraising to determine yearly budgets and advertising for fundraising campaigns.

Strong organizational skills required
Experience with social media management is an asset
An interest in broadening the reach of The Halifax Helpers
Training Details training will be provided to successful applicants
Working Conditions 1-2 hours a week, virtual, set your own schedule
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
