Position Station Moderator - Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge
Impact Statement Step into the shoes as a mentor-scientist, whether that is at the Interdisciplinary Science Competition, our workshops, or our other programs. From volunteering as a Teaching Assistant for organic chemistry labs to travelling to junior high schools to conduct science experiments, we are looking for dedicated volunteers who is wanting to be a role model and make a lasting impact on the education of Canada’s youth.
Description The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge (C3) is an interdisciplinary competition for junior high and high school students that aims to foster creative thinking and teamwork skills, and establish social connections between like-minded individuals from around the world.

The competition will be taking place on November 13th, 2021 and February 5th, 2022 from 8:15AM-5:15PM.

Station Moderator Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage an individual challenge for the event (explaining the rules and scoring)
- Ensure the tasks are performed in a safe manner
- Can volunteer full day or half day
- Work well under pressure and with punctuality
- Adding the scores on a collective Google Sheets file
- MUST have a laptop/computer

Training Details A 4-hour training session on the Airmeet platform will be provided by TeamUP Science.
Working Conditions Volunteer from home! All you need is a wifi connection.
