Position Call for Volunteers
Impact Statement We have a variety of roles across Nova Scotia that invite volunteers to have a positive impact on the lives of people affected by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Roles offer a wide range of options depending on your skills, interests, time available and location.

Description Crohn's and Colitis Canada - Maritime Region is looking for volunteers, to help with Chapters, the annual Gutsy Walk, helping with social media efforts and more! Time commitments of 2 to 4 hrs/month. A commitment of six months to a year would be appreciated!

What you bring:
- A desire to help people in your community, especially those impacted by Crohn’s and colitis
- Outgoing, friendly personality, familiar with local people and places
- A willingness and ability to successfully do community outreach and raise the profile of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada

A volunteer application form is required.
Training Details Training and orientation provided by Maritime Region staff and volunteers.
Working Conditions Some indoor, some outdoor, depending on the activity.
Work from home, virtual connections with other volunteers.
Flexible options always available.
