Position Social Media Developer - Girls on Boards Marketing
Impact Statement Girls on Boards will be offering sponsored body positive youth stand up paddle boarding camps this summer and also SUP trips for local Nova Scotians in an effort to encourage healing and mental health. We need volunteers to help with our events for youth and for our marketing to increase our reach and involvement.
Description We need a social media marketing rockstar to manage our Facebook and Instagram this summer. Our goal is to fill our programs, expand our reach, create greater impact and build our leadership team. If you have a portfolio of experience, a passion for sharing stories and creating interactive and impelling media, we want you on our team. This is a challenge, we're a small team, we can create the experiences, we need you to take them online and build audience and awareness. A portfolio, experience in both FB and Insta a must, strategy building, ads, and partnership building an asset. Take us to the next level.
Training Details We will onboard you with where we are now, a vision plan, and media. You need to be self directed, work with current data and work directly with our team to share current and exciting posts.
Working Conditions You don't need to be on site with us in Nova Scotia but the ability to meet via video chat would be required. We need you to be aligned with our mission and vision.
