Position Cafe Service - Recreation Therapy
Impact Statement Volunteers are essential to providing support for the many programs that enhance quality of life for the 6000 clients we serve. The over 500 volunteers contribute their talent, skill and time to Northwood. They make a difference in the lives of residents and seniors in the community, and continue to be a vital part of the Northwood community.
Description Lunch Cafe cashier. Sell lunch plates, coffee, and treats to staff, families, and residents living at Northwood Bedford Campus. Social conversations and ability to handle small amounts of cash.
Training Details Full training on all cafe aspects, cash, serving, coffee.
Working Conditions Small public cafe
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail 11:30-1:45 or extended hours to 3:45
Age 14+
