Position: SMH Recreation Volunteer
Location: 462 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S 1P0, Canada

Description: Engage residents in one-on-one activities such as visiting, taking a walk, knitting, as directed by recreation coordinator

Assist residents to participate in group activities such as playing cards, Bingo, crafts, cooking programs, gardening, and exercise

Assist with teas, generally contribute your own skills, talents, and interests, in cooperation with recreation coordinator
Training Details: Hospital Orientation
Orientation and training to the location where volunteer will be working will be provided by the assigned placement supervisor
Working Conditions: Reliable, responsible
Capable of working as a team player
Minimum Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Time Detail: One to two days per week for approximately 2–4 hours per day
Minimum commitment 6 months
Age: 19+
