Description: We're seeking a limited number of volunteers to assist with selling 50/50 tickets at the SEDMHA Minor Hockey Tournament in Bedford and Dartmouth, March 28th through the 31st. We're looking for motivated, outgoing individuals who enjoy engaging with the public. A passion for youth sports would be an asset as the funds raised will be used to help families in need offset sport registration costs.
Training Details: No training required. All instructions will be provided on site at the start of the shift.
Working Conditions: Locations at the BMO Four Pad hockey arena in Bedford and the RBC Centre Four Pad hockey arena in Dartmouth. The venues are both warm and cold as you will be required to travel throughout the various rinks to sell tickets. Volunteers will need to staff a table, walk throughout the venue, climb stairs, but not will be required to go on the ice.
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
Time Detail: Volunteer requirements will be between 8:30am and 7:00pm. Volunteers will not be required to work the entire time. Shifts will be scheduled in 4-5 increments.
