| Description |
We set up and run emergency animal shelters for pets in times of disaster. Membership is free and we have responding and non responding positions available. To respond with us you will need a Criminal background check and must be 18 years of age. We are also looking for volunteers to assist us at our Haunted House, located at Noggins Corner Farm in Greenwich. We require volunteers to dress up as haunters, people to be greeters at our front and side exits. We also require people who can help cover lunch shifts or perhaps run errands. What better way to give back to your community by helping others. We will work with your schedule to make it easy for you to volunteer. | Training Details | Orientation will be provided. We provide telephone orientation and then hands on when you arrive at the Haunted House. |
| Working Conditions |
Emergency Shelters - indoor/outdoor working with pets and members of the public. You may be setting up cages, washing bedding, food bowls, cleaning cages. For our Haunted House, this event is an indoor Haunt but positions are available outside. Dress for weather. Wear closed toed shoes. Washrooms on site. Microwave and Fridge onsite. Bring own snacks and meals.Please arrive wearing costume. |
