Impact Statement Volunteers are essential to providing support for the many programs that enhance quality of life for the 6000 clients we serve. The over 500 volunteers contribute their talent, skill and time to Northwood. They make a difference in the lives of residents and seniors in the community, and continue to be a vital part of the Northwood community.
Description Northwood’s William E. Frank Live More Park and Community Garden needs volunteer gardeners. Throughout the season we need help transplanting and dividing perennials, prepping the soil for planting, general maintenance, and prepping the garden for winter. This is a fairly new garden, only in it’s third year, if you want to get involved in a budding community space please think about joining us!
Training Details Some gardening knowledge is an asset.
