Impact Statement Volunteer opportunities across NSHA are as diverse as the volunteers themselves. There are over 7,000 dedicated and highly motivated people sharing talents, building skills, enhancing the patient and family experience, and strengthening the community.
Description Volunteers will provide a complimentary afternoon snack to residents at Haliburton Place. Volunteers will stock the cart at the beginning of the shift and then go door to door with the snack cart. In addition they will visit with residents to brighten their day. This is a great volunteer role for an individual or couple. At the end of the shift volunteers will empty the cart and complete paperwork(minimal).
Training Details General Orientation will be provided by Volunteer Services. New volunteers will be trained by a current Snack Cart Volunteer.
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail Current Openings: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, 2:45pm-4:00pm
