Description Talking Circle is an instructed class designed the help newcomer adults develop their English speaking skills, socialize and meet new friends.
Major Duties:
Arrive on time and prepared to start volunteering
Assist program leader with the class set up and tear down
Prepare class material (photocopying and collating)
Provide a safe environment for participants
Communicate with other staff and volunteers
Respond to or direct participants’ inquiries or concerns

Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (mandatory requirement)
Child Abuse Registry Check (mandatory requirement)
Training Details Child protection orientation
Volunteer orientation
Working Conditions Multicultural and diverse environment
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime
