No Time for That
No Time for That advances education about bullying prevention, mental health awareness, and youth empowerment by delivering seminars, workshops and presentations with personal stories and music to children, youth, educators, and the public. We celebrate diversity and equality, and honour the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals. Our presentation has been and always will be offered free of charge as NTFT genuinely cares about everyone affected by bullying and mental illness and wants to make a positive difference in their lives. We strive to be the best role models possible. We deliver our program nationally and have already worked with 600+ schools in communities throughout the country directly impacting 150,000+ youth. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, school closures, and social distancing rules, we are adapting to the situation by moving our youth mental health programming to a virtual presentation platform. In order for this program to be professionally delivered, we will need to invest in new resources and technology such as a video camera, lighting, microphones, a laptop and presentation software. There has been a significant increase in calls to youth helplines since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Many youth are in need of support and resources now and in the future as communities adapt to the "new normal". NTFT has identified the importance of being innovative in order for our programming to continue.
