100+ Women Who Care Halifax
We are a giving circle - we facilitate donations to local HRM charities. Our members meet four times a year, where they hear moving presentations from three nominated charities, who tell our membership how they would spend the donation if they are the chosen recipient. The membership then votes on which of the three charities they would like to make the donation to. We routinely raise between $10,000 and $20,000 per meeting for our recipient charities. We are fast approaching an incredible milestone - half a million dollars put back into the HRM community.
