As a Community Health Board Member you would be part of a committed group of volunteers from the community working together, under a legislated mandate, to improve the health & wellness of their community.
The CHB is an advisory board to the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA); they have a responsibility to ensure community voices are heard and community needs are considered in provincial health planning. They advise on local perspectives, trends, issues, and priorities
